Soft Scandinavian bedroom with natural linen bedding

Our story

Made for the way you actually sleep

Nyt Nyt Textiles was born from a simple frustration: bedding that looked beautiful in the shop but fell apart after a season. We set out to make something better.

Artisan textile production at our mill partner

From a spare bedroom to your bedroom

We started in 2018 in a small flat in Edinburgh, testing tog ratings on cold Scottish nights and washing the same duvet cover sixty times to see if it held. What began as a personal obsession with sleep quality became a small family business built on one rule: if we wouldn't put it on our own beds, we wouldn't sell it.

Every piece in our range is chosen for how it performs over years, not just the first wash. We work with a small number of mills in Portugal and Scandinavia who share our belief that good textiles should get softer with age, not thinner.

What we stand for

Our values

Honest materials

No misleading thread counts or synthetic fill dressed up as natural. We tell you exactly what's inside and why it matters for your sleep.

Built to last

Our bedding is tested through hundreds of wash cycles. We design for durability because replacing things every year is expensive and wasteful.

Family-tested

From toddler tog ratings to king-size duvets that survive a dog on the bed, our range is designed for real households, not show homes.

Considered sourcing

We visit our suppliers. We know the people who make our textiles. Short supply chains mean better quality control and fairer conditions.

We stand behind everything we make

The quality promise

Every Nyt Nyt product comes with a two-year quality guarantee. If stitching fails, fill shifts, or fabric thins before it should, we'll replace it. No forms, no fuss. We've only ever had to honour this a handful of times — which tells you something about how we make things.
